Course Description:

This dynamic seminar introduces a comprehensive approach to the assessment and treatment of low back, pelvic, and sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunctions, with an emphasis on integrated care for abdominal and visceral health. Designed for manual therapists and movement professionals, this course blends orthopedic and functional assessments with exercise-based rehabilitation and biopsychosocial considerations.

Participants will explore the relationships between structural imbalances, visceral referrals, and systemic influences such as inflammation and gut health. Through hands-on practice and case-based learning, attendees will develop the clinical reasoning skills necessary to manage both straightforward and complex presentations.

Course Outline:

• Introduction: Functional movement screening & foundational anatomy

• Level 1: Orthopedic and functional assessments; exercise therapy integration

• Level 2: Biopsychosocial strategies and systemic health considerations

• Level 3: Multimodal approaches for managing complex cases

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the anatomy, biomechanics, and common dysfunctions of the lumbar spine, pelvis, and SI joint

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create targeted mobility and strength-based interventions
